Privacy Policy

Closku is a virtual try-on service for online stores. This policy covers merchants who create a Closku account and shoppers who upload a photo to try clothes on a merchant's store.

We provide try-on to the merchant. The merchant is responsible for presenting appropriate notices and collecting any consent their storefront needs. Shoppers should also review the privacy information on the store they are using.

The data we hold depends on how you use Closku:

• Merchant accounts. Name, email, and company (or workspace) name when you sign up. You may later add a website and other profile details in your workspace. If you sign in with a third-party identity provider, we receive the account information that provider shares with us.
• Product catalog. Listings, images, and related product details you upload or import (including CSV import from store exports). That catalog stays yours. We use it to run try-on on your store. There is no live store sync today.
• Billing. If you subscribe or buy extra usage, Polar processes payment. We keep plan, subscription status, and usage needed to run billing. We do not collect card details on signup if you do not subscribe.
• Shopper try-on. Photos a shopper uploads and the generated try-on image. We also receive limited technical information needed to complete a try-on request, such as the store origin and browser user agent.
• Usage and support. Try-on counts, dashboard usage, messages you send us, and operational logs we need to run, secure, and support the product.

We use this information to provide Closku: merchant tools, catalog and widget operation, try-on generation, billing, support, abuse prevention, and keeping the service reliable. Shopper photos are used to generate the try-on. Catalog data is used to show and apply your products.

We do not sell shopper photos, your catalog, or your account information. We may use aggregated or de-identified data to understand usage and improve reliability.

We share data with service providers that help us operate Closku, for example hosting, authentication, and payment processing, under contractual safeguards. We do not name every vendor in this policy, and that list can change as the product changes over time.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Closku, our customers, and the public.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep merchants signed in to the dashboard and to protect sessions. Shopper try-on may use a short-lived widget session so a request can complete. These are for running the product, not for selling personal information.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Shopper photos and try-on results are kept as needed to complete try-on and operate the product. We do not promise instant deletion after a try-on finishes.

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards such as encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Merchants can update account details in the workspace and contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data where applicable.

Shoppers who want a copy or deletion of a try-on photo should start with the merchant whose store they used. We can help that merchant where the request concerns data we process for the service. Additional rights may apply depending on your jurisdiction.

If you use Closku from outside the country where our systems are hosted, your information may be processed in other locations with appropriate safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, together with our Terms of Service.
